Our Autumn Umrah Group’s Journey

Last month, we travelled with our October group of over 100 pilgrims and completed our umrah together. Alhamdullilah, being in Makkah, we could feel the immense blessings of worshipping at the House of Allah. Some of our group members were experiencing umrah for the first time, some had journeyed with their children and others had previously performed umrah and were invited back by Allah, alhamdullilah. For the Pearl Reliance team, each time we accompany a group, we feel an overwhelming gratitude for being a part of this experience.

Another highlight was visiting historical sites in Makkah, including Jabal Al Nour (Mountain of Light) which houses Cave Hira, the place where the Prophet (SAW) received the first relevation from Allah. It was like seeing our history books come to life!

The final part of our trip included a stay in Madinah. The sweetness of being in the Prophet’s city (SAW) is truly out of this world! Our group visited the Prophet’s mosque (SAW) where they sent salutations to him(SAW) and to his noble companions Abu Bakr (RA) and Umar (RA). We also visited some significant landmarks of Islam, including Jannatul Baki, the cemetery where many prominent members of the Prophet’s family (SAW) and his companions are laid to rest.
